Family & Children’s Association (FCA) is a non-sectarian, not-for-profit organization that provides help and hope to Long Island’s most vulnerable families, children, seniors, individuals, and communities. FCA’s qualified, experienced professionals know and care enough to dedicate themselves to serving Long Island.
As Long Island’s first recovery community and outreach center, THRIVE has been helping individuals and families find, maintain and strengthen their recovery. This free and non-clinical center opened in response to the heroin and opioid epidemic sweeping across the country.

Emotions Anonymous (EA) is a 12-step program designed to help individuals manage emotional challenges and mental health struggles. Modeled after Alcoholics Anonymous, it provides a supportive community for people who want to achieve emotional well-being. EA is open to anyone who feels overwhelmed by emotions such as anxiety, depression, anger, grief, or fear, regardless of whether they have a diagnosed mental health condition.
Adult Children of Alcoholics (ACA)/Dysfunctional Families is a Twelve Step, Twelve Tradition program of people who grew up in dysfunctional homes. We meet to share our experience of growing up in an environment where abuse, neglect and trauma infected us. This affects us today and influences how we deal with all aspects of our lives. ACA provides a safe, nonjudgmental environment that allows us to grieve our childhoods and conduct an honest inventory of ourselves and our family—so we may (i) identify and heal core trauma, (ii) experience freedom from shame and abandonment, and (iii) become our own loving parents.
SMART Recovery is a fresh approach to addiction recovery. SMART stands for Self-Management and Recovery Training. This is more than an acronym: it is a transformative method of moving from addictive substances and negative behaviors to a life of positive self-regard and willingness to change.

Secular Organizations for Sobriety (SOS) is a nonprofit network of autonomous, non-professional local groups, dedicated solely to helping individuals achieve and maintain sobriety/abstinence from alcohol and drug addiction, food addiction and more.
Women for Sobriety (WFS) is an organization whose purpose is to help all women find their individual path to recovery through discovery of self. We share experiences, hopes and encouragement with other women in similar circumstances. We are an abstinence-based, self-help program for women overcoming challenges with alcohol and other drug use.
Moderation Management™ (MM) is a behavioral change program and national support group network for people who are concerned about their drinking and desire to make positive lifestyle changes. MM empowers individuals to accept personal responsibility for choosing and maintaining their own path, whether moderation or abstinence. Our nonprofit is guided by research, an Advisory Board, and a Board of Directors. MM is not treatment or therapy, and we cannot advise beyond peer support.
LifeRing is about providing an abstinence-based, secular, and self-empowered addiction recovery pathway through our meetings and support network.

The Kenneth Peters Center For Recovery

The Kenneth Peters Center for Recovery provides information, education, and treatment services to addicted persons and their families. The treatment team at KPC developed and pioneered the concept of Intensive Outpatient Rehabilitation as an alternative to traditional inpatient treatment and we remain on the forefront of the addictions network on Long Island.
Mental Health America of Dutchess County is a nonprofit organization dedicated to making sure nobody gets left behind in our community due to lack of mental health services.
